FAQ

  • How much experience do I need?

Any at all! Most of our students have done a bit of filming and little to no editing on their phones. Our training always goes as fast as the slowest person in the group but with 3 trainers available, we can make sure even the most experienced filmmaker leaves with new skills.

  • What do I need to get started on the training?

You need a working smartphone that's either Android or iPhone to train on as well as a laptop or other device to follow the training live on Zoom. You'll be asked to download 3 apps in advance: Filmic Pro (£12.99) and 2 free editing apps.

  • Do I need to be available for both dates of the training?

We hope so! You'll get the most out of the training if you are available for both dates as the live workshop is the place where you can ask trainers more detailed questions and get live visual demonstrations. If you miss a workshop or any parts from them, you'll still have access to the recording as well as the revision resources and our support afterwards.
